HMAR --------------------------

Could you please explain, in terms that a 13 year could understand

No problem -- especially since you seem to be a 13 year old. Welcome to high finance -- where due diligence combined with luck will make you prosperous.

HMAR not only has
1. a couple of new ships coming on line
2. but did most of their dry dock repairing already -- so existing fleet utilization will increase from 90% last qtr. Prob 95% this qtr
and 97% in the following.
3. Day Rates are rising.
4. Acquisitions. The raised a ton of money and have plenty of opportunities according to the recent analyst telephone conference. They also hired a high powered acquisition guy which you can see in their past press releases.
5. Before you ever invest in anything, get their reports. For HMAR email to Laurie Tarquine at lauri.tarquine@hvide.com and request investor package. Get the 10K and proxy too. Learn how to read the stuff. Make sure their accounting is not too loose and make sure the report sounds like they know what they are doing. Look for legal liabilities, wierd stuff and anything that does not sound right. Check their compensation levels and be sure that they are not in it for the salaries and are stuffing their retirement programs.
6. HMAR management says trends will continue and are optimistic.
7. Check HMAR track record when you get the stuff. Look at past growth rate and hope it continues and see whan management is doin to make it continue. See 1-4.

Good Luck.
Be careful of the bozos who recommend stuff and do not know what they are doing.

PS By the way, I think you are quite mistaken with your comment on MRVC, but I am glad you have the ability to make a judgement yourself.
