They are relevant if you attach them to the New Testament and the birth of Christ as being the birth of the Messiah. It also refers to the Jews who will not be Jews and walk in the way taught at the Synagogue. You can also throw in Solomon and get a royal head ache and call it Halloween which is All Saints Day I think. And if you add the Catholic church babies galore and an increase in the cost of welfare and no reduction in Aids.
