sounds like the whining the old CEO of IBM used to do before they collapsed in 1992. Seriously it is no secret that California is not the cheapest place in the world to hire people and do business. On the other hand the true growth companies which right now are companies like Google and Yahoo don't have too many plans to move from here.

Intel has obviously moved into another phase of growth because they haven't designed any new chips for years. If you aren't looking for world class engineering talent then why be here?

BTW a bunch of tech executives including John Chambers actually backed a proposition a few years ago to raise taxes.
