Folks,
If there is renewed interest in discussing Gorilla Gaming here, I gotta mention that I no longer have any interest whatsoever in putting up with comments such as in Jurgis's previous post. I'm proud of having been a regular in this folder because of the incredible accomplishments that were made here, thanks to the community effort. Many of us worked hard over the years to build and sustain a community -- something much more than simply discussing business, stocks, markets and the like. However, I'm not willing to work hard again to build up another sense of community having learned how easy it is for people to help tear it down.
I'd like to think we can post messages that are factual, express opinion supported by information, and offer critique rather than personal attack without having to be subject to responses similar to Jurgis's. But this is a public place and some people simply don't know how to behave in public.
So, Frank, any time you want to start a moderated thread, I'm all for it. I've completely reversed my thinking about that. I don't think a moderated thread is ideal, but neither is having to put up with personal attacks.
I just got done listening to the Siebel conference call. I was going to post a couple of observations and a question, hoping to elicit some information that might be helpful to all of us. However, posting such a message simply isn't worth it.
