Bush is the lousiest president up for re-election since Carter. He shouldn't even be running. He should step aside.

His approval ratings have dropped 34% in 3 months. He is skating on thin ice and 50% of Americans have no faith in him anymore. Time after time the polls show Bush is only electable if the democrats blow it. Not a single Bush policy has worked so far, and that is not likely to change much. Bush is also a relative dunce. Still it could be a close race unless the dems put up Kerry-Clark to wipe Bush out. Gephardt wont be nominated. Has no heat. If dean surprises and gets nominated, he will probably lose to Bush. Not even Clark as his running mate can help dean much with the conservative swing voters. But could be close there too. Bush is getting weaker not stronger despite the recetn GOP PR blitz to try and stop his slide.
