Canadians drop the ball in general with regard to their own industry. They are a nation of foreign owned resources and industry. (once 85%, now I am not sure what the percentage is.) With domestic interference with our capital markets and governments treating the money flow in the country as a treasure to plunder, it can only get worse. Foreign majors will swoop in and grab up all our ground, and our opportunity since our own markets and industry are in tatters from government interference and simply low metal prices. Our own majors want only to find mines in other countries!!

The way the markets have been structured it is very hard to get a company going to explore for metals or minerals. You are at the mercy of weak capital markets, no matter what people may say. Access to capital south of the border is even weaker. American are blocked from taking advantage of our markets. This has to change if industry is to succeed in it normal cycle of competitive advancement.
