Let's see....Faris said Exxon has been drilling in this region since 1972. Apart from the fact that I'll bet faris said no such thing, at least about the AIPN concession, what has that to do with anything of interest here, except to show that Exxon thinks there is a lot of oil, which is highly positive for AIPN?
Faris does not know a blowout preventer from a derrick crown, etc. Faris has always protested that he is not an "oil expert". Does one have to know these things and be such to make a competent judgment about buying this stock? Are we all stupid because we don't know a bullwheel from a heifer gear? Are all the Kazaks and all the Russian oil people stupid? Are they all liars? If you think so, present your evidence.If you are so expert and so wise, why aren't you pumping your own oil, instead of hanging around here in the slums? If you are not short the stock and trying to beat it down to make a few bucks and the truth be damned, why are you here at all---and so angry?
That the Kazak President's brother is involved is a scary fact. Good Lord!!!PLEASE explain why that is scary. You go on in the next sentence: "Tengiz is the largest known field to date and it's a 20+ Billion dollar project that expects producing 600,000 bopd by 2010." PLEASE explicate that "line of reasoning" to us dummies who don't know a female wellhead from a blowhole. What the hell is your point?
Your second paragraph: Nobody should buy this stock because you lost money when it was operating in Colombia in 1992. Are you seriously proposing that as a sound reason for avoiding the stock in the present context? On that reasoning we would never buy General Motors.
Where, oh where, did you get the information set forth in the first sentence of your third paragraph? How do you know this ? In light of everything we know so far it is a nut statement.
What is terrible about drilling within AIPN's financial capabilities, and getting "first oil as soon as possible"? To us common fools gathered about your oracular feet, that makes sense. Enlighten us ,please.
