"Strong family ties"? Strong but hardly strongly loving, or nurturant, it's fair to conclude"
Not really. There is a lot of love in ME families, which tend to be not just parents & children, but grandparents, uncles, their wives & kids, usually living all together in the rural areas. There is a lot of love in ME families and its "manifestations" are quite often and physical, hugs, kisses, etc that North American visitors are known to feel uneasy when present. (And they think it weird that American men don't even hug and kiss :-)
Are you trying to say there is no rape in North America?
did she say there is no rape in America?
since she started her post with "Strong family ties"? Strong but hardly strongly loving, or nurturant, it's fair to conclude", it isn't hard to conclude her point addresses how this middle eastern family treated their little 9 year old girl [marrying age btw in Iran] after being brutally raped
did they taker her a doctor immediately? did they take her to a trauma unit? did they comfort her? did their love manifest in "hugs, kisses"?
...Sanariya's four brothers and parents beat her daily, Fatin said, picking up a bamboo slat her father uses. - Sanariya's family took her to a doctor three days after her attack only because the bleeding had not stopped
you take E's post and try to turn it into yet another 'Americ is worse then the middle east'
  not in treatment of females
