No, Silicon Investor is different from blogs. It's an on-line virtual community. Much like the granddaddy of all virtual communities, the Well. well.com "Politics for Pros" is sort of like a blog, in that you do most of the talking much of the time. But I'd really call it a message board. Or maybe I should call Silicon Investor the message board, and "Politics for Pros" a thread. Except that this is analogizing to BBS aka newsgroups, but the software design is very different, and far superior, to BBS and newsgroups. Still, it's not a blog. Blogs are one man shows, with choruses. Being able to exclude spammers, flamers, and sickos is what makes the Internet work as a forum. ozzie.net
