Hello Eric That's all true Eric but it won't change until voters stop buying into the socialist pabulum that is constantly fed to them by left leaning politicians and the media. "Public ownership good, private ownership bad" nonsense. The environment sacred, jobs be damned, as if there isn't an inexpensive way to achieve both objectives without losing millions and years on consultants and obstructive/wasteful bureaucratic processes. I would add that foreign banks and capital markets are far less risk adverse than the big five CDN banks and venture capital pools, giving foreign owned businesses a significant competitive advantage. Try borrowing money for a business venture from a CDN bank some time... When SUF wanted to develop Messina they didn't get the capital from the markets or CDN banks, they got it from SA banks which underwrite mining ventures and know the business. When I want investment capital, I don't go to the bank down the street, I talk to HSBC, ING or credit unions, etc. Institutions that are interested in growing their CDN business relationships not plundering and exploiting them. The Fraser Institute would be proud of us. Have a good one. Vaughn
