No, Rove and Bush would LOVE to run against Dean. It would be SO easy to peg him as a far-left idealist weak on defense. Clark entered the race to knock Dean out, not help him. The centrists behind the Clark candidacy are dead-set against Dean getting anywhere near the nomination. Together with the Senators running, the unions and Gephardt, they have the power to make sure Dean fails. No way Dean can get enough delegates to win. And now way smart Democrats want to run a little peacenik against the GW Bush military machine.
