I had lucky or good timing initially, then
some luck, and of course taking a lot of
the table (albeit far too gradually) is
what worked. But if we go back a few years to
the contest in '99, my first set of biotech
picks were almost all disasters. I think I
pointed that out on this thread a couple of
times.

Clearly microcap works when the bull is running,
and that is what I owe my gains to. Certainly
not the day to day grinding it out and careful
stock picking.

There was an article today in the Seattle Times
about the Vulcan biotech investments.

I see Microcide has finished going private, what
a freaking disaster mcde/etrx was. I think that
was on my '99 biotech stock list. Good grief!
