Re: "First of all, why would OBL put Iraq on his topline talking points? OBL is a product of Whahhabism, a strict and purintanical form of Sunni Islam. Saddam was a 'liberal' Sunni who was secular. A Whahhabi Sunni like OBL would hate a man like Saddam almost as much as he would hate an American.
What foolishness you prattle on about."
Now the above, is PRATTLE! Why don't you ask Osama why he HAS put Iraq on his talking points list since at least '98. I take it you just aren't aware of the fact, and in your ignorance write as if I've made it up while you purport to know how Osama feels and apparently give no creedance to the common ground hatred for America the two men share. Funny. So go look, and explain it to me if you are so knowledgeable, LOL.
O wise one, I responded to that yesterday and I really don't like repeats. As for OBL and Saddam both hating America......so what? If you can't tell the difference between a Saddam and an OBL, you should not be posting on the subject.
Re: "al Qaeda gains in strength"
Highly unlikely, despite however sure you are that "we have improved OBL's recruiting efforts a hundred fold." LOL.
You're funny! Have you heard of ansar al-Islam? Rumsfeld has. They are a terrorist group that's become entrenched in Iraq and are fighting our soldiers. They've gained in strength since the war and as Rumsfeld puts it in his memo, we are just getting started fighting them. BTW, they too spring from Whahhabism.......you know.....the stuff up above that you call prattle. You need to read up on Whahhabism.......its pretty potent stuff. Its going to make our soldiers in Iraq very miserable say the next two, three, five years.
Meanwhile, who do you think is leaking Rumsfeld's memos. Apparently, he annoys even his staff! In any case, Rumsfeld says ansar al-Islam is a big problem, the war is costing us a fortune and getting stability in Iraq is going to be seriously difficult. All stuff I said last fall but who knew I was that smart!
So liberdan, what are you going to do about that Rumsfeld.....fire him?
