The US wasn't an ally of Israel at the time, and may have been where they didnt belong. You don't have any idea what you are talking about. US was helping Israel and paying Israel at the time. That was the time when we (US) got a working model and all the manuals for a missile site that was identical to the ones being used in North Vietnam against our B-52's. You are the type to blame a rapeed person for being where they shouldn't be by saying Liberty was where it didn't belong. Israel wouldn't exist if it weren't for the US - both in it's creation and current existence.
