While I believe a top is pending, I don't believe it will occur without some type of event. That could range from: (raising of interest rates, UPS strike if it effects enough businesses, decline in the value of the dollar (correlary is strengthening of other economies where they raise there interest rates this I feel is most probable scenario), etc.

I believe we will just become more volatile and may plateau for a while. (IMHO)

But while we are waiting, what do you recommend as the best "puts" to take advantage of a market correction. ( I had Cokes but closed them out Friday) I may re-enter but I am expecting a bounce on Monday.

Also, since my IRA money is mostly cash, are their some shorter term opportunities you have been following that you could recommend for me to investigate. (ie. IRA money can only go long)
