Teri, >the fastest growing sectors of the economy (technology) continue to experience price deflation.The items mentioned were cellular telephone rates and computer prices. This rings true from what I see. But this has ALWAYS been the case.< These are non-essentials. You are quite right in your observation that it has always been that way. If we just look at groceries, housing and transportation, health care and insurance - all very essential - I don't see deflation. Which essentials are cheaper than a year ago? GM
