>>> Then I suppose everything that happened between 25 and 26 months ago was his fault?
Of course not; Clinton could have easily stopped Bin Laden and chose not to do so, apparently for political reasons.
Do you ever think beyond Democrat/Republican, Conservative/Liberal, or is that your only simple minded, polar metric?
Not really, not when discussing political matters, at least -- which, as it turns out, the Democrats have made damned near everything into.
I just happen to think Democrats (Liberals) lack the basic intellect and reasoning skills to run a country. That's why we were in the mess we were in when Clinton left office. Bush has spent most of his first term cleaning up after the likes of Madelyn Albright (you remember her, toasting the fine leader of North Korea?).
Occasionally I find a liberal or Democrat who I believe is, in fact, bright, but just got the wrong label -- Harold Ford & Daniel Moynihan, for example. But as a group, liberals are in my view nitwits. There is one liberal on this thread who I feel has average or above intellect, but he lacks any common sense.
As to my use of labels, it is convenient to do so. People can be loosly classified as conservative (Limbaugh), liberal (tejek, you, Bill Maher) or moderate (me). Then there are extremists (Franken, and Al on this thread, or Jerry Fallwell). Pretty much everyone fits nicely into one of these categories.
Rush is, in fact, an entertainer. So we agree on something. At least he was the last time I listened to him to any extent, some 6-8 years ago. |
