Boz, I didn't see that article but saw one a few weeks ago on the same subject.

It's an old subject that has been on the table and has been widely reported in the media for several years. It sounds really juicy but really boils down to some technical and logistical difficulties which haven't been resolved.

I don't know how it will turn out. I don't really care, and wouldn't even care if I was still selling real estate. It wouldn't change my business one bit. Some large brokerage firms feel very strongly about it, but a few brokers also felt strongly some years back about NOT EVER PUTTING THEIR LISTINGS ON THE INTERNET AT ALL.....if you can believe that. Meanwhile, everyone else was doing it, so the big jerks had to go along. I doubt they regret it.

And by the way, the antitrust thing re: Realtors is a red herring. The feds have been going at that angle for MANY years at DOJ, FTC, you name it. They haven't come up with much. And I'm not defending anything, either. Just telling you the truth as I know it.

I suppose you keep defending your belief that the real estate market has been crashing for a few years? (Sorry, couldn't resist that one!) <GGG>>
