AS: Rumsfield served as an Air Force intelligence analyst and I dont even think there was a war going on at the time. He never flew a jet. However, he did serve as a naval aviator from 1954-1957, immediately after graduating from Princeton which he had attended on a scholarship. intellnet.org cbsnews.com So AS has several untrue statements in that one short post: 1. Rumsfeld served in the Air Force. (False, it was the Navy) 2. He never flew a jet (He was an aviator, though since it was in the 1950's it could be that the planes he flew had propellers on them) 3. Quit lying. (In classic AS fashion he accuses someone else of lying when it is AS who is making stuff up)
