I agree with all of your points. I am a recruiter for the tech sector. For the most part, the increased numbers being posted have not trickled down to new hires in the US, except in sales, marketing and service. Exporting development and manufacturing to China and India has become a major issue. MSFT, INTC, LU, GE, CSCO and virtually every other large tech player have established facilities in India for SW and HW development. I would not be surprised to see legislation that penalizes companies that move jobs and tech from the US.

Something has to happen to stop the flow. Too high a % of our GDP depends on a liquid consumer.

My reasoning was that I truly did not believe that the valuations in the US stock market would rise to current levels. oops....
