Grassroots-oriented candidates have never won. Can you think of one? I can't. McCain, Bradley, Perot, Tsongas, all peaked early then faded. You can admire Dean all you like but I think he's not the best candidate to put up against Bush due to 100% anti-war, zero foreign-military experience and 100% liberalism on tax issues. Those are all red flags the RNC bulls will be charging. And "Hamas are soldiers" will kill him during the general election. The liberals are riled up now but hopefully they make a sober mature decision come primary time.
