Instinet Group to Change Stock Symbol to 'INGP', Effective October 27 Business Wire - Thursday, October 23, 2003
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 23, 2003--Instinet Group Incorporated (Nasdaq: INET) will change its stock symbol for its listing on NASDAQ to "INGP", effective October 27, 2003.
The company is in the process of combining its Instinet ECN and Island ECN into one electronic marketplace, branded INET. It is changing its stock symbol to "INGP" from "INET" in order to maintain Instinet Group Incorporated as an entity distinct from INET, the soon-to-be-combined electronic marketplace.
The stock symbol will change effective the start of U.S. market trading on Monday, October 27, 2003.
