National Security comes waaaay ahead of my Aunt Matilda getting a good deal from medicare on her false teeth. I agree with that. The first job of government is to physically protect us. Right behind that is support for the Constitution, especially our individual rights. Beyond that, mostly I expect them to stay out of the way, especially out of the way of long-term prosperity and progress. Based on traditional political philosophy, your boyz should be better at all three. Right now, I wouldn't give them an edge on any of them. Quite the opposite. Not that the other guys give me much hope, either, mind you, but the status quo is totally unacceptable.
