That movie is full of lies, distortions, setup and half truths. Moore's thesis in the movie is completely false. People don't become violent from wrting specifications, making drawings and performing engineering calculations in the design of weapon systems. By the way the plant in Littleton, CO makes weather and other commercial satellites..not weapons of mass distruction or missiles for that matter. This is one of the boldest lies by Moore in the movie. The real reason why 10,000 people are killed each year in the US by guns is because most of them are killed in drug and criminal activity in the inner cities. If you remove inner city drug related gun crime, the numbers are less or equal to the rest of the western civilized world. Most of ther 10,000 are criminal on criminal gun crimes, police defending themselves and people and busniness defending themselves and killing a criminal perpetrator. Don't feel sorry for them one bit.
