There is an an enormous weight of evidence that you cannot lose your salvation.

When we're born again we are "sealed" by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. The seal is a stamp of ownership. We are owned by Jesus Christ. We are His! We cannot revert back to ownership by the old you know who again. The transfer agent (the Holy Spirit) has already issued the certificate to the rightful owner, Jesus Christ. Ownership can't change.

But Jesus does give warnings about "some slaves will receive many lashes and other few". We are the slaves and our conduct is subject to review by our Master. Paul said to the Hebrews who were sinning at will because they understood the scope of the forgiveness they received. Paul said God will not be mocked. Whatever you sew you shall also reap. That was a warning to Christians and applies to Christians. Some Christians try and apply that to the world where it does not apply, and think they are above it because they are forgiven. Not so. We will be feeling "the rod of correction" from the Lord if we are His. The Word says Jesus will discipline every son whom He receives. That's part of Jesus being "the author and finisher of our faith". The world is facing one judgement already for their sin.
