I don't blame blacks for gun violence. Thats absurd and you can check the contents of all of my posts and see that. Most people join the NRA by mail. There are no questions on the form asking you for your race. The NRA does not discriminate against anybody from joining the NRA. Anybody with $25 can join the NRA. The NRA isn't like some special club or something with regulars meetings. You just get a magazine like American Rifleman or American Hunter.

Up in Canada they have a handgun ban and I will submit to you that the amount of their inner city drug and gang problems are modest in comparison to the United States. I'm all in favor of legalizing the drugs to stop the gang violence which is where the bulk of the gun crime statistics come from. There is always going to be gun crime, but once you remove the gang violence statistics from the numbers, your law-abiding average American is no more violent or aggressive than any Canadian, European, Asian in developed civilized countries. Moore tries to portray law abiding Americans as being more violent. Thats flat out BS. Guns crimes committed by drug gangs and people defending themselves and their business against thugs portrayed as "children" by the Brady Compaign and Violence Policy Center are just flat out lies and of the same lying ilk as Moore. The Klebold/Harris phenomena is rare and happened once and gang homicides occur daily and account for upwards of 7500 gun killings a year. Yet Moore makes no mention of this in the movie and instead focuses on the rare Klebold/Harris incident as if that happens 7500 times a year. Direct attention to where attention is due. Stopping the bigger menace of drug/gang violence and not stopping Klebold/Harris copycats. You will get a lot more in return that way.
