Actually, I care first and foremost about people who try to sway public opinion by saying things which are not true. Hence my conversation with you, since you do that on a more regular basis than just about anybody else around here.

You can say that wanting people to say things that are true and not false is unimportant. You are entitled to that opinion. But I won't be agreeing with it.

And by the way, the California race (with the spectacle of the recall and of course the circus atmosphere) was big news out here. Prop 13 was big news out here too, and at the time I lived in Michigan, which promptly passed tax caps by referendum which remain in effect. So you can call that BS'ing if you want (I'll have to defer to your expertise about BS'ing), but what happens in California does affect us out here and we do pay attention.

I care about Disneyland too. I went there again last March with my kids and had a great time.
