Not really, the focus has now changed and this paper is going to be submitted for consideration at a Marketing conference. It was originally a Finance paper. The focus is now on the situation the music industry and record labels face. Re-inventing business models, repositioning their company's strategy and adapting to change. The idea is to gather a good idea of consumer behavior and perception regarding the purchase of music online, followed by a number of recommendations for the record labels as to how they could embrace the new technology or make the traditional CD more sexy by lowering prices or giving incentives for the purchase of a CD. It has forced me to do a great deal of research and has sparked my interest in this market.
