re:"You just don't want to get it, do you? Bush made the statement about the uranium because they said they have a bill of sale to prove it. That bill of sale was a forgery. The administration knew it was a forgery in the Fall PRIOR to the State of the Union."

What President Bush actually said: "The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa." - State of the Union Address, Jan 2003.

What Prime Minister Blair said: "The evidence that we had that the Iraqi Government had gone back to try to purchase further amounts of uranium from Niger did not come from these so-called 'forged' documents, they came from separate intelligence" July 2003

And its all BS. In the fall, American intelligence told Bush to strike the statement re. Saddam and weapon's grade uranium from his speech that he was to give in Cincinnati. Bush did. However, he included it in his State of the Union because a majority of the people in this country did not want to go to war in Iraq without the blessing of the UN. Since that was not about to happen, Bush had to make a convincing case.......and he did.....based on lies.

They lied to you, me, all of us. And you defend him. You should be ashamed!
