Then Ayn is an even bigger idiot than I already thought she was. Frequently the breaks ARE the raison d'etre. The "position" if often earned "because" of the breaks. The "earning" of something is inherently subjective- we often feel certain people have "earned" things, because we'd like to think that. Poor Ayn, her failure to understand that, is like a blind man trying to appreciate the Mona Lisa. The blind man may get something out of the experience, but not much.
