Has anybody ever confirmed that the Pentagon was the original third goal of the 9/11 attackers? Air controllers looking at the path of the plane that hit the Pentagon have speculated that the hijackers were originally trying to hit the White House, but couldn't find it because the sun was in their eyes and the White House was partially hidden by a grove of trees.
