I see. So is it your contention that spokespersons for an Administration have never before hit the TV commentator circuit pushing bills involving spending?

Is this Illegal?

Should it be?

Or does it fall under this?

Amendment I.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

You may get as pissed as you want. That does not make the conduct of the people you are referring to either illegal or wrong. They have as much right to be heard as you. Like it or not.
