Hi Susie!
We are far enough away from Simi that we won't be affected. We do have a number of friends and family there who were evacuated though. What is amazing is that today was a beautiful day in the valley....the wind was blowing west and the smoke looks like a huge cloud bank in the distance. We do have a cabin up in arrowhead that we are concerned about, but nothing we can do at this point but hope that the ridge functions as a firebreak.

As long as the santa monica mountains stay clear of fire, we should be ok....we are right at the base of the SM Mountains though, so....we are concerned with the idea that these are arson related.

thanks for the concern,
jxm
