Hi BP - Do you know if Novell is working on any embedded Java technology? This type of 'real time' Java application could control many different network devices with predefined time event schedules etc. without constant network updates. It appears that the SUNW solution at this point has a few flaws in particular with slow run times and memory limitations. techweb.cmp.com I would like to see what Novell's development in this area is (if any). Joe - This is another one of those JAVA derrivative technologies that Microsoft may develop a propriatary NT solution for. That 100% solution is already changing. From what I can tell, the open platform standards are a moving target. I sure hope Novell has a constant upgrade schedule for their JVM protocal standards. EKS
