Raymond:

Surely you don't expect Kofi Annan to be stupid enough to bite the hand that feeds him, so to speak?

I expect Kofi Annan to fulfill the duties of the office he holds with the world community as a witness.

It strikes me that you're being naive about the nature of the UN's precarious existence.

And it strikes me that you are quite paranoid about almost everything.

...independent NGOs and investigative journalists have provided convincing evidence of malfeasance, criminality and corruption on the part of the U.S. government, and the story is suppressed by the corporate media.

Uh-huh. Case in point.

Raymond, it seems to me that the ONLY viewpoints on current events that you are willing to accept as genuine come from one extreme end of the Bell Curve. You and I have had this type of discussion before, where you want all foreign capital to pull out of Wall Street and thus collapse the American financial system, which you believe to be totally corrupt. Somehow you think that bringing prosperous America down to the the level of a third-world country will solve the world's problems.

Your latest link was simply a regurgitation of all of the US's military actions since WWII taken completely out of context and listed in a manner that tries to imply endless unprovoked aggression in the most inflammatory language. Those of us who lived parts of it know better.
