we live in a desert. It never rains here.

I have zero emotional attachment to a "house" and have no idea why anyone would insist on staying in the path of danger to "defend" the home.

It is interesting to see that in spite of what we think about our government, it seems to be quite adequately prepared for the event. Not much panic. Considering the thousands that were displaced with very short notice, I thought they were all rather orderly.

May be we are more prepared that I thought.
