Byte and Switch on the SANBox 5200:

tinyurl.com

Byte and Switch seems to get some unique information out of the company. Here they discuss a new switch ASIC named Agate that consists of four 10 gig ports and 16 2 gig ports. I guess that would qualify as more than a switch on a chip.

The marketing VP also has an interesting comment about how they are not in competition with Brocade or McData but are going after the yet to be discovered lower end market.

And finally a collaboration with Microsoft to provide a low cost SAN kit for Windows Server 2003.

They aren't standing still that's for sure.
