Freedom of religion is a right granted to us all. No one in the government seeks to prevent any person residing in the US from exercising their religious freedoms. Nor does anyone in the government force anyone to attend any church, synagogue, mosques or temple. As for me, I attended the church of the holy bogey at my favorite golf course for years nearly every Sunday morning.

Do you practice a religion that is discriminated against or one for which you are persecuted?

Your comment about might makes right is absolutely ridiculous. Our entire government system is based upon a majority rules basis. Yet, the rights of individuals are protected from the tyranny of the majority like few other places on earth.

"You seem to be equating "if it feels good" with non-Christians and values with Christians."

My comment was meant to refer to situational morality and ethics and using those as a basis to establish law. While as a citizen of the US you are free to do practically anything you please, it does not mean that we should not have laws that establish a base line of behavior and conduct. To do less leads to chaos and the absence of values.
