Being you disagree, I'll have to mitigate my statement..
I suppose which is the most important depends on just
how good/bad your local politics is.
Like down here where I live, things are really run out
of a cooperate office in Midland Michigan ..:-(
We pay local ( hidden taxes) on so much it makes my head
spin..Like a 1000%+ tax on water that's slipped into the bill
as if it was nothing. ( that's bought from Dow reservoirs
and has god knows what in it )
I pay far more Local taxes than I do Federal Taxes, but most
of the local ones come piece meal and are disguised.
Trash pick use to be a service with a cost passed on that
reflected the City's cost, but now it's done by a contractor
who charges the city, who then adds 50% before they bill
us.
We also have to make up for all the money the local boobs
passed on to wall street farting with their pension funds..
Perhaps Houston is not as messed up as Brazoria..:-(
We are not far from being another "Orange County"
