And besides, 9/11 didn't just kill 3,000 citizens, it also brought the most metropolitian city in the world down in an instant. Millions of people were affected. Sure, they lived, but that's not something they really want to live through again, considering the HUGE disruption to their lives.

Not to demean what the people of NYC went through......it was a horrible event. However, people throughout the world go through horrible events almost weekly. We have one every 50 years and we totally freak out, feeling that OUR horrible event justifies toppling gov't after gov't.

Just for a moment you might want to see how the rest of the world judges our behavior. We are put to a higher standard.......it comes with the superpower territory.
