A Crack in the Great Wall? tech.sina.com.cn AMD just signed the Shenzhou Digital at its China distributor. Shenzhou is one of the largest CPU distributor in China. It has a strategic relationship with the Great Wall Computer, which is INTC's first strategic partner in China. Before this deal, AMD was at a great disadvantage in China because it had few large PC makers or CPU distributors as its partners. Some people are curious as how this AMD-Shenzhou-Great Wall relationships evovle. It would be a huge win if AMD can land a design win from the Great Wall Computer. As a side note, Shenzhou Digital was just voted the 1st among the 100 largest eGovernment IT companies in China. tech.sina.com.cn
