It is extremely difficult not to take profits sooner rather than later, especially after a devastating bear market where long profit opportunities were far and few in between... I don't mind letting profits run as long as my technical analysis agrees, but when it does not, I get out no matter how much higher the stocks or indices rise... I had to develop my own brand of discipline to help keep my emotions out of the picture, because my emotions had a tendency to really screw things up in the past
