Your last statement is easiest to refute. What you mean is "throwing money to Halliburton and other well connected companies for reconstruction will solve the problem." Is that what you meant? That is a disgrace. Cheney lied and said he was not being compensated by Halliburton...and his OWN OFFICE had to retract it and admit he will be getting "deferred compensation." No conflict there I guess.

I was just referring to your "strong military" comment, as if that is the end all of every problem. We need "smarter" not "bigger." Who is doing the reconstruction....the very last people who have the training to do it...the military. That is why, correctly, Condoleeza is now in charge OVER the Sec'y of Defense for this effort.
