JF, But we jumped into this "dung pile", and it doesn't look like anyone wants to jump in with us.

I see it differently. I see members of the U.N. willing to help out, if only America would cede more control and authority. I'm all for that, as long as the goals are clearly laid out and the means to that goal are effective. After all, if a U.N.-led force turns out to be even more ineffective than an American-led force, then what's the point?

Unlike Vietnam, I feel we have real victory in our grasp. Let's not fumble the ball at the 10-yard-line.
