Mike, you've addressed a bunch of different issues here. I'll see if I can answer them in order:

1) You said you are looking for good online game that will also give you good chat and e-mail capabilities. Are you actually looking for a game that does all this or a gaming service that dies all this? For example, when you use Mplayer, you get great chat facikities for the other people who are currently logged on to the service but we do not yet have integrated e-mail.

2) RGP's remain very popular in the online world altthough most of them are fantasy related. I agree that it would be nice to see some RPG's with different themes.

3) Quake is currently the cream of the crop in online gaming right now with Quake 2 coming soon. They play very well over the Internet but depend on the quality of your connection which can vary every time you dial up. We have found some ISP's to be very consistent while others are quite flaky.

4) Integrating all of the online features (i.e. chat, e-mail, news, and bot searching) will happen over the next year or two. Right now, however, most of the game services are trying to cater to their niche market: the gamers! So game porting and game play has been the primary focus.

Thanks for the interest!

Andy
