Perhaps you're unaware of it, but there is general consensus that the failure in Vietnam was due largely to one problem: The liberal presidents were so chickensh*t to commit all the resources needed to win the war, that they ended up killing 58,300 American soldiers, a little at a time. Please tell me how the current conflict is, in any way, similar to Vietnam?

American soldiers are dying a little bit at a time. Do you think that when the Vietnamese War started thousands were dying monthly right from the get go? It started small and worked its way up.

Vietnam or no Vietnam......this war is stupid. Violence begets violence. Just because you're in Little Rock doesn't mean you will escape the next attack when and if it happens.
