American soldiers are dying a little bit at a time. Do you think that when Vietnam started that thousands were dying weekly? It started small and worked its way up.

You missed the point. In Vietnam LBJ refused to give the military what it needed to win the war;

That same complaint is being voiced now with increasing frequency.

it is commonly agreed that this is what caused us to lose the war.

That is not what's commonly agreed.....that's your version. We do not do well in a guerilla war similar to the one in Vietnam and now Iraq.

In Iraq, that has not happened, and likely won't so long as we don't elect Howard Dean or someone.

With each passing day, the likelihood of Bush losing grows. His administration is unraveling. The internal fighting has gone public. Can Bush's demise be far behind?

While our military is strained due to Clinton's incompetent mismangement of the military, Bush has had the gumption to allow the military pros to do what they needed to.

Bush has done squat except what K. Rove and Cheney have told him to do.
