Why is it that I don't believe a word these people say? But I know I have to listen to them?

What they say clearly doesn’t mean much, and that clearly applies as much to the hysterical threats as it does to the conciliatory statements. This one is going to go back and forth like a ping pong ball for the forseeable future. I think we’ve little choice but to keep with massive deterrence, and to make it clear that the cost of selling a nuke would vastly exceed the benefit.

No clear or quick solution to this one, but at least we are dealing with people who at the most fundamental level want to maintain the status quo. Kim is a nutcase, but he doesn’t want to die.
