I'm very concerned.
It took AMD-Athlon a year after release to start making significant market share gains on Intel. Intel still turned the battleship.
So Opteron has been out about 6 months and Athlon64, one month. Intel has already started the FUD and will release a x-86-64 chip when the market "needs" it...which will be within 6 mos. to a year...IMHO.

Without big help from Microsoft, AMD will not pull it off. IMHO
