you didn't watch the interview did you?
after what happened last election i think
it is of the utmost importance that we learn
everything we can about the candidates before
casting a vote.

i'm serious too.

if you'd watched the interview you'd be able to
extrapolate that he would answer:

"that depends... if the case is one that i'm
involved in so deeply that i have specialists
available (that i trust to advise, educate and
collaborate with me on the exact therapy for the
best possible outcome for the given patient's
situation), then i'd listen to them and prescribe
on my own, based on my own and my expert's proven
competence and advice."

"OTOH, if the case is one that i can't be fully
on top of, for whatever reason, i would write orders
to the effect of 'ventilator per RT'... but i would
monitor results and intervene if necessary."

good answer? it's just extrapolated from knowing
his character by watching and listening to him
in as many situations and venues as i can.

i still can't get c-span's link to work so you may
not be able to view the interview but i'd suggest
you watch him closely... he's more like you and me,
as far as personal integrity is concerned, than anyone
else running in this race.
